Dario Fusato is co-founder and CEO of Savvly, the company behind the Savvly Longevity Benefit, an employee benefit built on SEC-registered Longevity-Linked Securities. Before founding Savvly in 2022, he spent two decades in insurance, risk management and consulting at McKinsey & Company, Aon and Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Maryland.
Dario Fusato co-founded Savvly with Antonio (Tony) Derossi in 2022 and leads the company's strategy, category development and partnerships. Savvly offers the Savvly Longevity Benefit, an employee benefit built on Longevity-Linked Securities. Contributions are invested in the Savvly 80+ Fund, an SEC-registered closed-end fund that holds a low-cost S&P 500 index ETF and is designed to make scheduled payouts at ages 80, 85, 90 and 95. In April 2026, the SEC granted Savvly an exemptive order that allows the fund to allocate returns based on each investor's age.
Dario grew up in Italy and came to the United States for graduate research. His focus at Savvly is longevity risk: the financial uncertainty of living into one's late 80s and 90s, which traditional retirement plans and benefits do not directly address.
